You might be wondering why I built a custom site instead of using one of the many platforms out there. The answer is simple, to learn. This site is written and maintained by me (with a bit of AI assistance ofcourse), giving me full control over how things work and how they look.
It’s also a bit of a nod to the old internet — when personal homepages were everywhere. With how easy it is to build and ship things now, there’s no reason not to carve out your own space online, so I hope both the posts and concept inspire you to do your own !
